The withdrawal method of contraception is not really effective, and lots of babies have been born because of the use of this type of contraception. In reality, the male control is not always simple and just before the orgasm, it is possible, that a little expulsion of sperm occurs, without the partner realizes it. This kind of contraception is not advisable; expect if you like taking risks!

2- Are the contraceptive implants, which the doctor inserts under the skin, effective at 100%?

No, not at 100% but almost. They are as effective as pill and there is no risk of omission.

3- I am 40 years old, and I cannot take pill, because of the hormones that it contains. What do you think about the contraception method called temperatures method?

It is not a good method of contraception because the failure is about 10%! Many babies have been born with the Ogino method! You could use a coil (intra-uterine device) which does not contain hormones, and which is effective, or use the female condom.

4- Do vaginal ring contraindicated for women who cannot take pill?

Yes, vaginal ring, marketed under the name of Nuvaring, contains the same hormones (estrogen and progesterone) as pill. Therefore, it has the same contraindications as pill.
