|
The vulva is the external female organs, including the labia majora and minora, clitoris, mons veneris and vagina (See female anatomy)
1- My labia minora are larger than the labia majora which is not really esthetical! Is it normal and what can I do? Many women have labia minora, which are larger than the labia majora. This can sometimes be uncomfortable for the penetration of the penis because the labia minora can get caught. It is often useful to spread the labia apart during the penetration. A surgical act is possible in order to decrease the size of the labia minora. 2- When the labia minora are too big, can the partner have some problems for the penetration? Yes, if the labia are too big, the partner can have some difficulty to find the entry of the vagina. It is important, in that case, that the woman spread apart her labia in order to make the penetration easier. 3- How can I make the difference between labia minora and labia majora? I have larger labia close to the entry of my vagina. In general, the labia majora are larger than the labia minora. Sometimes, labia majora are smaller and the labia minora larger. To recognize the labia majora it is easy because their external face have hair on it whereas the labia minora are not hairy at all. Besides, the labia minora are always closer to the entry of the vagina than the labia majora. See our file about the female anatomy. 4- When I spread my labia apart, I see a membrane (kind of) with two holes. What is it? It is probably your hymen, which does not cover all the entrance of your vagina. Do not hesitate to see your doctor, for an exam, in order to see exactly what it is. |
